The main goals of the TRAIN-CE-FOOD e-training were:
® To present insights of the developed e-modules (1, 2 and 3) to the relevant target groups.
® To foster cooperative mentoring sessions with the students, in order to develop and implement their innovative business ideas.
® To acquire relevant feedback on the presented learning materials and the developed content for possible improvements before the final e-course version.
® To directly evaluate the competencies gained by the relevant target groups, in the pre- and post- competences evaluations.
TRAIN-CE-FOOD 4-day e-training programme was divided into:
– Introductory session (welcome, guidelines for the day, ice-breaker game)
– Online lectures by partners from WP3 (e-modules presentations, in-depth lectures)

Workshop
TRAIN-CE-FOOD workshop should happen in Brussels (Belgium) in May 2021 – however, due to pandemics project consortium successfully organized an online event on May 27th, gathering around 100 interested stakeholders.
The objective of this workshop was to showcase the E-Training programme and launch the first opportunity for discussion about training young people competencies in the fields of Circular Economy (CE), Social Entrepreneurship (SE) and Food Supply Chain (FSC).
The half-a-day workshop consisted of three plenary sessions.
The first section was considered as the opening session included virtual check-in, welcome speeches, and an overview of the Train CE Food Project
The second session was entitled “Train CE FOOD – The Curriculum”, covering project work package 2.
The third session was 45 minutes allocated for questions, group reflections, and conclusions on the day’s discussions, as the aim of the event was to foster discussion between attendees around the core themes of the Train CE Food.
TRAIN-CE-FOOD project consortium gained valuable inputs and feedback from the target groups throughout the workshop programme and evaluation activities.
REMOTE COACHING for Establishing Circular Economy Cooperatives and Entrepreneurships
Train-CE-Food project partners took over the role of “business mentors”.
Coaching facilitation was done online with applied techniques that were aiming at supporting creativity of the students, preparing them for:
– Business idea development,
– Market research,
– Preparing a business plan,
– Legal requirement documents needed to establish/register a selected business.
Student participants were mentored in order to equip them fully with the needed knowledge, skills and information, based on their business ideas to be ready to launch their business ideas onto the market, becoming true “change-makers” in green business fields.
We sparked some great business idea realizations, linked to the TRAIN-CE-FOOD project objectives!
